They are Widely recognized throughout the web standards and design community. A large amount of their work is done in css following web standards.
Monc is a minimalist site with a very clean open feel to it; all of their sites follow a similar pattern of design which I found one of the more interesting aspects about this company. Each page within monc is laid out in a very user friendly manner making it easy to navigate and view their work.
When viewing their portfolio they present each project with multiple screen shots and a detailed description giving the audience a clear perspective on what each project consists of.
If you're a fan of minimalist design, monc has a large variety of such work. I highly recommend taking some time to view their portfolio work.
